hamerfan Well-known member Aug 3, 2025 #2 You can use whatever suits you best, but full size humbucker are designed for 500k pots.
jeremy LoveMachineologist Staff member Aug 3, 2025 #3 right. these are billy gibbons pups, so im sure they were tested in a lp with 500k pots when being dialed in. they might sound fine in a super strat with 250k pots. give it a try and let us know!
