I picked this up off of EBAY last week. Threw down a low ball offer and got it...it was a pawn shop, so i figured that was why they accepted it.

This is a 1987 HAMER Chaparral Custom.

Mahogany body with a glue-in mahogany neck
Ebony fretboard with MOP Boomerang inlays
Orig Floyd Rose
OBL pickups...i swapped ou the bridge for a Duncan Invader
5-way blase switch...master vol, master tone controls

This baby has a slim shreader neck. Not terribly heavy...about 8 lbs. It has a great classic 80s sound...and it is in great condition for it age!!!

Wicked. As much a pleasant view as the gif in your signature. Being a pink Hamer, it's probably unattractive to the kindermetal crowd (not a black esp, ha!). But remember, one should never underestimate the tone of a pink guitar!

I think it's short scale. Okay, I admit I'm slightly jealous. Happy NGD! :friday:

That was my dream guitar when I started playing. Same colour.... everything. Do you mind me asking what you paid ?

Sweet. I even like the pink. I would rock that no problem.

Also if you could start your signature like 5 seconds before, that'd be great.

Awesome score! I have one I bought new in '87 or '88, same OBL's, in pearl blue, great axe!
