NGD spree continues - Something I've wanted for a very long time

Good to know! I thought the price of admission was much higher.

Have'nt checked for a while but there used to be ton of used Fernandes axes on ebay (mostly from sellers in Japan) with Sustainers in them that were sometime's insanely cheap $200-250 or so w/ $80-100 shipping from Japan. They were often a bit dinged up with worn frets etc..but the Sustainer's worked.

Yeah, my house looks like an art museum from all my relatives passing. Nice reminder of them all, but I have too much
So, get rid of it.
Must be something in the season. My wife has been on a tear of cleaning and reorganization.
Thankfully, I seem to remain unaffected.

EMG Retroactive HOT70 bridge pup (no sustainiac)

I have the Fat 55 Retroactives in another guitar (Cort X 11 quilt top) & this one is voiced a bit differently..probably a bit hotter and more compressed too. I like them both though. Definitely both feel more like passives than actives too, which I think is what they were going for with these pups.

That looks really cool. I regret selling my Jackson Dk2S, the Sustainiac is a lot of fun. The sustainer in the Jackson Phil Collen model is actually even more fun thanks to the harmonic thing it can do, but those guitars are ridiculously expensive (I sold mine because the Sustainer was going to fail and you just can't replace the things!).
How do you find the Sustainiac? I really don't know why more guitar manufacturers don't use them in their models. It's too expensive to put in in a guitar yourself and quite a lot of famous guys like Satch are now using them.

Thanks! It's great guitar. Looks great plays great & sounds great :bigthumb:

The sustainiac is a whole lot of fun. Took a little getting used to initially but I'm pretty comfortable with it now. This one has the harmonic mode too..in fact, two different harmonic modes apart from the fundamental mode (which just sustains the note)..so lots of crazy sounds are possible. It's awesome to mess around with.

It's a wonder they aren't on more guitars. Though that number has definitely gone up off late...

What can I say ..boredom is the mother of invention :D

What does one do with a bunch of cool new guitars and some time to kill? ....a Guitar Collab..

So that's what I did ..3 guitars = 3 solo's = One neoclassical ballad w/ sweetass intertwined harmonies :bigthumb:

Used the Lead and Rhythm channels on my Laney IRT 120..
