LOL!Thanks [ hey that pedalboard looks too clean , lol ]
No, but I can snap one ... tomorrow night. I won't be home until very late tonight ...was there a pic of the inside ?
Oh yeah; it's a totally different beast. You can hear it on the clip I linked. It's not really fuzzy at all; more like a subtle colouration. It does not boost the output at all; at max volume it is at unity gain.Any opinion on how it differs from
the colorsound overdrive or any of the other two transister fuzzes ?
I would probably look elsewhere if I were you, then. That being said, it does exhibit more of these types of characteristics when you run it on a 9V battery; with a DC power supply, the pedal cleans up a lot and has a much faster attack/increased dynamics. I much prefer it with a power supply over running it with a battery.I like that slightly squishy feel , without it sounding farty or low battery
crapping out

The Astro Fuzz is great! It is not a replica of Bolin's unit, however. It starts with the Sam Ash fuzz and then adds several nice features. I really want one, but have yet to get round to picking one up!I have the Analogman AstroTone Fuzz which is a similar take on the Bolin Sam Ash-style unit - its a kickass box.

I totally agree. Was just being cheeky.I think most people don't want a decrease in volume when they step on a fuzz pedal, but hey variety is the spice of life and all that.
2 of my guitars have volume controls, but I rarely use 'em. The rest do not. I've never really been into the roll-back-the-volume-control thing ...I take it the volume controls on your guitar are stuck open or something?
