Im tryin to find any review from these pickups compared in the same guitar.

Does de CC sound fatter and hotter (less highs) than GoodWood A2? I Know that they´re different by construction (AWG43 14K vs AWG42 10K).

I only have extensive experience with the CC. So if you have any CC-centric questions, ask away.

@Mincer i was thinkin if is worth replacing my CC with a Goodwood A2 bridge. The WCR cost a lot more money than the price that ive paid for the SH-11.

Actually im using the CC bridge with a Slash Aph neck. Great tones, with orange drops, 50s wiring and 1Meg tone pot, the CC is almost perfect to fill the airy/bright tone that my 2001 LP Classic have.

As a side question, to your ears...does the CC compliment better an airy/overly bright LP than the Slash APH bridge? I had the Slash bridge installed a few months ago, it was a really good pickup, responsive, dynamic, but it has a razor-sharp attack, almost single coil-ish; in my low volume situation, the guitar sounded great but a bit thin (it has the shredd-y 60s slim taper profile). The CC with 500k vol and tone sounds good, but the 1Meg tone that im using gives me enough cut to suit my ears and the rest of my rig better.

For a bridge pickup, and what I like, I would pick the CC every time over the Slash bridge. But I like a little extra compression there, and I like the slightly reedy tone of the CC. I wouldn't hesitate to use it in a bright guitar, as it would counter act that to some extent.
