I've got a straight Bugera 4x12 (200 watts). It's MDF with a ply baffle and the speakers are great.
Needs some break in..initially it sounds thin/fizzy, but crank your amp a few times and give it a week or so..it really opens up.
Nicely balanced w/nice mids (rich & fat but not honky) & deep firm bass. It's pretty loud & sustains forever...no fizz & a singing sweet top. In other words...nothing to complain about haha. I often play my amp's through a Marshall 1960b (practice/gigs) and don't hear a huge jump in sound quality and/or massive improvement. In fact, a little tweaking and I can get it to sound just like my Bugera

.
I'd at least check it out ..they're built solid & sound great. I think mine has the "vintage voiced" speakers...not sure about that though.
