I've never seen anything like it. You couldn't tune the G string like that.

Why not?

Hey ****n wait a second. the entire G,B,E would be hard to tune because the strings would be in the way. Haha never mind its been a long day. I feel more dumb than usual now

Edit mach 2. it might work Aiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

The high E would be right in the way.

Are you positive? take a look at a strat style headstock, i think there would be room and the button would stick out enough. I might do some measurements and see.

I just mocked this up at turbo speed. You know i think it would work. I wont be doing it but i cant see why it wouldn't work.

No, I'm not positive but from the way it's drawn, the high E string would be right over top of the G's tuning key. I'm sure it could be tweaked to work.

yeah sorry that wasn't right the machine heads would face the opposite way, Take a look at the new hi tech blueprints ^^^^

Re: Has this been done before?

It might work. But, like you said in your first post it ugly. :)

Re: Has this been done before?

actually i know this has been done before i remember seeing something similar awhile ago. I will try and find it later once i get my son to sleep.

Re: Has this been done before?

I'd worry about the structural stability. By the time you drill for the post holes, there isn't a lot of material left on either side.

You have to use carbon for the neck.... And it would look like ... Voila .. a Parker Fly Guitar

Ok lets not talk about this anymore haha. I would just like tosay anything is possible when daRaph is on the tools

Re: Has this been done before?

To flip the original Klusons, it would be necessary to dismantle their gear cases and re-orient the tuner key stalks through the holes provided.

Regarding structural stability, how stable is the Parker Fly 'stock?

Re: Has this been done before?

copyright it and give it some steller name.... then people will want to buy it and you can then be rich and famous.
