Cool to hear Sperzel treated you good!

I'm sure this paticular piece was "the exception, not the rule" for Sperzel reliability.

I've never had any issues with any of the Sperzels on my Carvins.
My '94 DC400 being the oldest one with Sperzels.

Love Sperzels.
Makes string change much easier.

Yes, i was surprised when Lori told me they would replace it for free. From all the reviews I've seen, what happened to me was probably 1 in a million chances. I still believe that Sperzels are great stuff, and they made me believe more in their great staff and customer service.
