Have anyone tried a H&K Warp distortion pedal?

Well, i'm maybe ordering one soon when i get the money, because i really liked it when i tried it... unfortunately i just got to try it for 10 minutes trough a Crate amplifier (gross), so i'm not sure what it would sound like with a different amp.....

Do anyone have opinions or reviews of this pedal?

I've tried it through a few different good amps, the Warp pedal sounds like a broken fuzz pedal. The tone was awful and not useable to me or anyone else that tried it in any way.

When I worked at GC we actually gave away two of them and a few weeks later the kids that got them brought them back because they couldn't sell them to anyone.

Oh yes it can. H&K makes some great highend stuff, but they're cheaper stuff is complete garbage.

I'm glad you posted this 'cuz I was about a day away from asking about the same pedal, but didn't wanna be the guy who wanted to "turn his amp into a raging nu-metal monster!" (from musician's friend)

I like the Hughes & Kettner stuff. They make great tube amps. But this Warp thing is awful. You should play it some more before you buty one. Please??
