have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

whats scary is adding up the cost of pedals that are not on my board, but sitting unused!
Still, i guess its these ones that lead us to our eventual favourites.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Pitchblack tuner
SD Pickup Booster
ISP Decimator G String

Probably just shy of $400. Then the extra cables for all that **** are probably another $40 or so.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Total cost to replace = $1172

Pitch Black - $90
BBE Green Screamer - $100
Way huge Fat Sandiwch - $179
Way Huge Swollen Pickle -$129
Boss HF-2 - $60-120 (all over the place on ebay)
Boss CH-1 - $99
Line 6 M5 - $200
Boss DD-20 - $230
2x Visual Sound 1spot - $35 + $20 (combo pack, and price for just the adapter)

not counting cables, the board itself, case, etc...

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Mine was getting close to $2,000. That's when I decided that it would be a good idea to get an M13 to take to gigs and to leave the more costly gear at home...most of the time.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Mine is right around $235 right now...

It will soon be changing though... I am replacing all my pedals (Other than the echo park) and adding 2 or 3 new ones lol. Thread coming soon. :)

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

I've got some seriously expensive gear on there. between $2-3K for sure. When you've got a Lovepedal addiction you know its going to be expensive.

So up in the $800 range at the moment. The Delay pedal is more than half of it but man does that thing sound amazing.

Damn, including the 1Spot and cables, I've spent over a grand... didn't think it was that much. Oh well, totally worth it. I'll probably be getting a volume pedal soon enough, and a phaser, trem, and another dirt box or two by the end of the year.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Not gonna do it, wouldn't be prudent.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

i did once. it was like 800 dollars or something.

now its like... 500.

650.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

About $2700. And about $900 in pedals not used on the board.

Wow! This has been scary. You don't really know the worth since your board developes slowly over years. But adding it up now, I realize that I could have gotten a couple nice amps for the price of my pedals.

Dang, I envy you guys that have cheap boards or non at all.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

Let me see.........£0.

I have a switch for my amp's boost but that came with the amp.

To be fair, I have a couple of OD pedals and an EQ that sit in my house gathering dust. Don't like chorus, flange, phase, delay etc.

Re: have you guys ever added up the cost of your board?

My gigging board is pretty sparse. I have a CE2 clone I paid $65.00 for, A DD3 that a friend gave me, an MXR Classic Overdrive($39.99) my Vox Clyde McCoy Way($75.00 used) a TU2 ($50.00 used). Then I have a Daisey chain & one Spot powering it all $30.00).

My home board is actually running into two amps & I have pretty much the same effects going into two amps. The only difference is at home I have Thomas Organ Company Wah(one on the shelf, one on my board in case one breaks).
