A very underrated bassist. He really filled out the band's sound to make them sound great. Also wrote Misfire, You're My Best Friend, Spread Your Wings, Another One Bites The Dust, You Don't Fool Me, etc.

He had a mysterious ending to his career. Lots of rumors. Wish he's come back for a one off or something....

He is up there with Geezer Butler and John Paul Jones as one of the absolute best bass guitar players out there.

Understated, both in his playing and as a human being. Tasteful rather than flashy. It is difficult to imagine the Queen recordings without the parts that he contributed.

IMO, he was right not to continue after Freddie Mercury died.
