Headless Guitars?

Re: Headless Guitars?

I recently like the carvin keisel page on facebook and my newsfeed has been flooded with all there vader guitars and they look gorgeous. thats what got me interested in the headstockless guitars. there a hefty price for my budget. but if there worth it and a nice quality instrument i suppose it would be worth checking out.
Carvin guitars offer a lot of bang for the buck. The downside is that their one-off nature tends to be a kick in the teeth if you ever decide to sell.

Thats what ive heard. I also have a couple buddies that bought the keisel vaders and said they were nothing but trouble. It arrived all out of wack and had do a complete setup to play and something about the frets being sharp. I do t wanna spend $2000 on a guitar and have to send it back or pay somebody to fix the issues right out of the box

Re: Headless Guitars?

My problems with the vader is that they are overtly pointy, and they have no option of a trem. A combo of the Holdsworth and the Vader would be cool, with 22 frets.

Nothing the break, slightly more compact and it looks cool to some.
Only headless I’ve played are some boden 6s and they’re awesome

I think they're popular among the crowd that records at home studio, into a Kemper, that tend to sit in a chair all times while recording. They would seem to be more comfortable sitting down than with a Les Paul or Strat
