i'm kinda surprised the bids have gone that high. I guess even when the economy sucks as much as it does right now, some people still have that kinda dough to throw at an old instrument. I sure don't.

The economy only sucks for 99% of the people. The 1% doesn't care, trust me. Bentleys and wads of cash all around bro...

Actually! A bentley will only lose value, but a guitar like this is a better investment, because supposedly, it should never lose value, ever, as long as it stays in one piece. It will be worth much more (factoring in the inflation factor) in 50 years.
