Hellatone 60/ Celestion V30 Speakers...opinions?

Hey guys! I'm soon to order a pair of 16ohm Hellatone 60's for my 2x12 cab I'm making. For those unfamiliar, it is a (real!) celestion vintage 30 with 15 hours of break in. So...

-Your opinions on hellatones? (and the V30)
-A local store guy today (who I've grown to notice actually doesnt know too much) told me yo uwant your speakers crisp and not broken in...but I've heard broke nin is what you want! your opinion? to me broken in seems better
-16ohm will get me an 8ohm cab right? (my 4x12 is 8 ohm and it has 4 8ohm speakers)
-Will they blend well with the G12T-75's in my 1960B?

I like a good mid hump so I'm hoping these will help bring out some of the mids. I play alot of metal and soon auditioning for a journey/boston tribute band. I play everything under the sun though, so versatility is key. I usually go for a brighter tone as well.

These speakers/cab will be used on its own only for practices...all gigs will be done with the addition of my 1960B. Thanks in advance!

If you want mids go for the G12H30...a pair will handle 60 watts and then some. More mids and more bass and not as aggressive a treble as the V30.

The V30 is a great, great speaker but because it doesn't have as thick a midrange as the G12H30 some folks complain that it's to bright.

I've heard good things about the Hellatones but never heard one myself.

I can't go any lower of power rating for speakers unfortunatly since it is a 2x12.

I love the Hellatones. I don't particularly like V30s by themselves, but I love them paired with the G12H30. I also like the speakers broken in.

I mixed Hellatone 30's with G12T-75 in a Marshall 1960b cab and I'm thrilled with it! I also have "beam blockers" in the top two speakers.......

I have the Hellatone 60 (V30) and the Hellatone 30 (G12H30). I love them both the Hellatone 30 is my favorite though.

yea I'm loading a cab with 2 hellatone 60's and 2 hellatone 30's and yea....I love em

I think the hellatone 30's would match better, as they have great mids and nice lows, which is what the g12t-75's are not.

I have some H-30's and will be putting 2 H-30s and 2 H60's in my 4-12. As for quality, Avatar is a great co. to deal with.

Regarding broken in speakers. Of course that's what you want! Do you want to buy new speakers every week?

I would love to try the hellatone 30's but since this is going in a 2x12...I need that 120w power handling.
