HELP !! How to attach transistor to socket? HELP!!

hey folks of electronics knowledge,

ok i soldered transistor sockets to the circuit board.the thing with 3 holes. and now how do i attach the transistors to the sockets? really need to know soon. :)

you insert th ecomponent leads into the socket. be sure to know which socket hooels are for collector, base, and emitter. good luck!!

i just pressed it firmly in until it doesnt move anymore. is that the correct way?

Yes you should be good.

Its like sticking an IC Chip in a IC Chip socket.

Yup . . . more or less. Just be sure they're seated firmly, don't bend the leads, and as lastwinj said - make sure you get the EBC aligned properly. Not all transistors are the same configuration.

got it. i think the emitter,base and collecter are aligned properly. thanks guys! i surely hope it works.
