Help identifying Marshall speaker

I just bought an amp that was supposed to have a Celestion Vintage 30 in it but the speaker says -Marshall G12 Vintage by Celestion - on it . is this really a Vintage 30? or is it an altered design for Marshall like I've been told elswhere?:gurmpy:

My guess is that it's altered or something entirely different...usually a V30 will say "Vintage 30". That may be good or it may be bad, depends on your taste.

Relax. Marshall just has Celestion put on Marshall specific labels. The only difference between the "Celestion Vintage 30" and the "Marshall Vintage" is the label and usually the color of the frame. They are indeed one and the same.
