I just found that crazy as i sounds i like these a lot in one of my strats ! However, these have been in my parts drwer for so many years i'm not sure what i pulled them from. As far as strats i have had that i know come with plastic bobbins over the years and i may have pulled them from, the 3 i'm sure of are 90's MIJ basswood body strats that were imported by fender for sale in the USA, a few late 80s MIJ squiers, and several MIM classic series strats from the late 90's when they debuted to later ones. So i think it's got to be one of those 3. The telling details are that it's NOT staggered and the leads are noticably thinner than the other one which IS staggered and has a blue and black leads while the non staggered one is black and white leads. Pretty sure the staggered one with bue and black leads is classic series. I guess the most telling thing about the other one is the fact it's not staggered, so i would guess it's one of those 90's basswood body MIJ's except i could swear those had ceramic magnets while both of these are alnico rods, A5 i believe judging by the mag strength. If i must i may open the guitar back up if anyone thinks they can identify it by a pic. But in any case it's the non staggered one i want to identify. Did they ever use non staggered pups in classic series?

EDIT: just remembered....i also had a MIJ 90s fernendes LE2 which was supposedly made in the same factory as the 90s imported strats, also using basswood for the body. My bet is on that one now that i think about it.
