help in ID'ing a cheap Jackson (no pics)

darnright

RepententRodentologist
Found at a local pawnshop covered in stickers. Has two humbuckers, one volume, one tone, w/3way switch. Has dot neck, pointy headstock w/tuners on top. Also has Fender-style trem, the only thing it says on it is Jackson in big letters. Seems like a slightly smaller-squared off body with arm and belly cuts. plays really nice, I stuck a pair of old SD's i had around in it...sounds good. I am guessing it is one of the cheaper imports...possible one of the "Dinky" series??? I know I make it difficult with no pics, can't get my camera and computer to like each other. I have looked on all the retail websites and can't find anything exactly like it.

thanks,

JS series definitely.

I have a JS20 (the HSS variant) from the 90s, and it plays like a mother****er.

Also, the JE10 bridge humbucker that comes stock in those is the greatest and best humbucker ever created.

I just gave it to my brother in law - here is a short video I made of it before I gave it to him.

P.S. I snatched the awesome JE10 humbucker before I gave it to him :cool2: - put in a stock Epiphone Dot A5 PAF in there for him.
