I'm really liking the dark red aluminuim, with standard Marshall controls. I'm not crazy about the Fender knobs.

I can't wait to hear how you like your amp, but I know what the answer is going to be:

Thank you all so much for the votes and kind posts, your input on this is much appreciated !
Keep them coming !

But despite the many votes for red, I'm actually starting to lean more towards black on gold. Fender is black, Marshall is gold and I think the artistic input of red looks cool. Red, white and black in general is a combination you almost can't go wrong with.
But as an amp faceplate, it indeed might be too much asociated with Line6.

Oh yes Jeff (H), I'm quite sure that this will rock ! :banana:

Completely blackfaced clean channel.
Black lettering on bright red plexi.

Yes, I was thinking red wouldn't be the right, but then I came up with another point of view. What will people say when

(1) Hey, he has an ordinary Marshall.
(2) Hey, he stuck a Marshall logo on his Line6.
(3) Hey, he stuck a Marshall logo on his Line6.
(4) Hey, he screwed Fender knobs his Marshall.
(5) Hey, he put a sticker on his Marshall and then screwed Fender knobs on it.
(6) Hey, he, ehm .. ?

Now .. All I need are the guts for the amp. Two weeks ago, Jeff mailed he'd send it out that week.

By the way, yesterday was a special day for Jeff and me, it was exactly three years since we agreed on this amp.
