No, I did not have to pay the new shipment. If you want a one stop shop, visit dougstubes.com. He as a 12AX7 "tone kit" that contains 4 different pre amp tubes to swap around to find your best tone. Sovtek LPS, Chinese, Ei and JJ. He also has JJ and SED power tube matched duets. So for around $65 plus the shipping, you will have a full set of new tubes. Also pick up an extra pre amp or two of some sort to keep on hand in case one does go bad or just to switch around. He also ships internationally. Good Luck.
