hi buddies,
i want to buy me a smaller combo for jammin with some new guys,
where i will play bass instead of guitar. i already own a 150w top with
a bigger 112 cab, but that's an overkill.
the new setup should fit my jazzbass, musicstyle will be blues/jazz/latino
(well we still don't know yet really). and if ever on stage, it should act as my
monitor with link to the bigger amp. i like those 10" kickback designs,
but can't really decide on the model.
i thought about a hartke A35 as cheapest solution, but dunno if it would
be loud enough as a stage monitor later on. reliabilty is another point
where i don't have a clue regarding current amp hw.
is a gallien-krueger backline 110 ii more reliable/loud/bettersounding?
well it has distortion which i don't need, but lacks the limiter.
the hartke kickback 10 would already consume my money limit, but is
it worth the difference?
i already studied harmony central, but most of the reviews actually bypass
the aspects of interest.
cheers, martin
