Help me identify my pup.

Hey,

I've recently bought a guitar (1979 artist) and it has a Seymour Duncan pickup. I took it out, to ID it, but it was missing its little sticker.

Is there any way to ID it? I can post pics, but it's a standard open black design with the SD logo embossed on the back.

Could be tricky without the sticker, but using a meter to read the DC resistance might yield a clue.

I'm not great with electronics... what's the exact procedure to get this measurement? Multimeter?

yes, cord into the guitar and all pot full on and measure between tip and the sleeve of the plug. I should measure in kOhm range. This figure gives a hint.

BTW: Logo on the front means made after 2002.
