Help needed for S-S-H Lefty Ibanez

Heya Guys, Would like to seek your advice.

I'm a lefty guitarist and I want to change my PU of my guitar.

My guitar is a Ibanez Roadstar II with floyd rose, basswood body, maple neck and rosewood fretboard.

The pickup configuration is S-S-H

Wat kind of PU and pots should I use for a flexible sound?

I'm looking for accoustic sounding cleans on the neck and high gain PU for the bridge for metal. I'm also looking for a tight sounding bridge PU.

Pls kindly advice?

I personally have been digging the C5/Cool Rails/Lil 59 setup I just installed for a friend. 500k pots and automatic coil taps in positions 2&4!

I have a similar axe, RS530 roadstar II.. it's H/H

I have a custom trembucker in it and it sounds nice and tight for rhythm parts. Nice bass response also. Clean though it's very dull when wired as a HB; you'd need to split it if you wanted any "nice" clean tones from it

A JB would work well also... - use the search function to decide between the two. Theres about ten squillion threads on JB VS Custom :laugh2:

A distortion would have to be a consideration also.

However, those are all pretty hot pups, and most likely will over power your singles if you're wanting pristine cleans from them...

Wat kind of Single Coils do u think will be a good match for JB then?

Btw does JB sounds good on basswood bodies?

the guard that I wired up went on an older RG550 and it sounds pretty dam tight and punchy.

Also,

Will it be better if i get Vintage Flats instead of Staggered?
(I can't get the lefty version of SSL-1 as my local dealer doesn't import them)
