*help picking new amp

1st post, need advice on a high end amp..ect..

here is what I have in mind to choose from, Engl savage 120, triaxis, rivera reverb 100, maybe Roadking.

From these I only tried the rivera, the clean was very nice, but I was not crazy about the gain , but I only tweeked with it for few min.

So this is mainly for the Engl stuff, anyone have the savage or powerball..

Those amps are WAY out of my price range, so I don't have any experience with them. I know theres some guys on here that do, though. Enjoy.

if you want massive amounts of gain, get the powerball.. but it hasnt got the best cleans. one of the forum members has the head version

I wasn't crazy about the Road King I've played, but I've played some ENGL's and for high gain, they are fantastic amps. :fing2:

I don't know but maybe you can get a second-hand Bogner or Soldano for that price?

If you're going to spend 2K, then go with the VHT Pittbull ultra lead CLX head. It's a little cheaper than 2K and you can probably gind the salesman to give it to you way cheaper. I played one and it was like hot sex with two chicks, dude. That thing just kills and the price ain't that bad.

The 100watt CLX head. I was playing one at the local music store and the guy told me it was $1700.

hip-hop, jk, I play everything from rock/jazz/metal classical... the usual bs. I have a JP music man guitar!
