Hello.

I know that the output of this pickup is high.
But if you look at the linked YouTube video, it sounds like clipping noise, not overdrive.

THR10, Vox 30w amp, audio interface, etc.
The same clipping noise occurs in other amplifiers.

Does AHB-2 have this characteristic since its design?
Other videos on YouTube, there's no clipping noise.

Yup, it's clipping. Welcome to the world of the Blackouts Metal through a 3W pocket amp (Blackstar Fly).

Heck, it'll clip most amp's inputs, especially in the bridge position. No surprise here.

Are you able to record DI's? What does the waveform look like? Is the max headroom the same for both pickups? If so, then that's how the AHB-2 is supposed to be.

EMG's clip as well internally, and EMG's aren't neary as hot as the AHB-2.
