Re: Help please?
You will need switches in the guitar to split the pickups, unless you just want them split all the time and connected to the 3-way then to the output.
So you'll either have to use push-pull pots for the switches, bypassing the actual pot itself, or mount toggle switches in the knob holes that do the splitting.
I have 2 push pull pots!
What I don't understand is where to send the wires and if my wiring is correct.
I get different results depending on where I wire the wires...
I can't switch pickups, the 3 way doesn't work and I don't understand how it works.
There is no instruction manual anywhere (for what I want to do, which is 2 Humbucker, 2 Push Pulls, 3 Way Switch), I have no idea which pin does what, what goes where and what does what.
The way I wired it up is just like the diagram in the first post, then I send my bridge ground to the ground of the output jack with the bare wire, and the green wire to the hot, then the output of the push pull to the hot.
I don't know what to do with the blue wire from the 3 way...
It thickens the sound when I wire it, and it doesn't mute the pickup when I switch it ???
And when I add the green and bare from the other pickup, the sound thickens as well... isn't the 3 way switch supposed to control which pickup gives a signal and which doesn't?
