Help with advanced hsh configuration?

Hello I'm new here and to wiring passive pickups.
I knew how to use a Soldering iron and have wired many other things before, but I am having trouble finding information on this exact pickup wiring I want to do for my custom build I am making. It would be great if someone could make a schematic or diagram or point me in the direction for finding one. Thanks for You're help.

Here is what I want to do for a push pull config

2 humbuckers (neck and bridge)
1 single coil ( middle)
5 way switch
1 tone
1 volume

Push pull (up) =

(Switch position 1)
Bottom of neck humbucker

(Switch position 2)
Bottom of the neck humbucker and middle single coil

(Switch position 3)
all pickups on

(Switch position 4)
Middle coil and bottom of bridge humbucker

(Switch position 5)
Bottom of bridge humbucker

Push pull (down) =

(Switch position 1)
Full Neck humbucker

(Switch position 2)
Full Neck humbucker and middle

(Switch position 3)
Middle only

(Switch position 4)
Full Bridge humbucker and middle

(Switch position 5)
Full Bridge humbucker

Help with advanced hsh configuration?

Hi, I believe this is what you're looking for:

https://docs.google.com/gview?embed...ploads/2016/05/1SCH_1S_1SCH_5W_1VppSPL_1T.pdf

In case you want to have only one coil and the middle single automatically un positions 2 & 4 this is how you do it with auto split:

https://docs.google.com/gview?embed.../uploads/2016/05/1SCH_1S_1SCH_5W_1V_1T_AS.pdf

In know you've already figured it out, but just in case, the wiring for full size humbuckers and single coil size is the same [emoji2][emoji1303]

Thanks that should help me alot. What pot values would you use if you were to do this config?

Re: Help with advanced hsh configuration?

300k if you want it dark and 500k if you want it bright.

Re: Help with advanced hsh configuration?

Yes, it works well that way to have them both the same if you only have 1 vol and 1 tone. If you have 1 vol and 2 tones you can tweak certain pickups if you want. For example, 500k vol, 500k tone for neck and middle, and 300k for bridge.

Re: Help with advanced hsh configuration?

Both tone and vol ?

The vol pot value actually effects how the pickup responds across the whole eq range practically. So 500k will not only affect treble but right through the mids too. In this way you cannot get the same response with different values simply by turning the pot to a different number.
The tone control is more linear, as in its simply a treble cut where you can mimic the value of a lower pot value by turning the higher value one down.
If you can find a concentric pot then you can get 2 tones out of 1 'hole' so to speak.
