Hello! Im hopeing someone here cam help me out
I'm building a guitar for my brother as a gift, the problem is the wireing for the pickups! He loves diversity it his guitars, so I want to wire up a guitar with as many posable changes to pickups as I can! I have got two humbuckers from emg an H4 and H4A....so has anyone got any wireing diagrams for the most insane switch crazy guitar ever? Like all posable changes, in phase, out of phase, reverse the parallel and all kinds of combinations of each? I'm hopefull someone here can atleast point me in the right direction, I'm thankfull for any information you all can help me with thank you!!!

Re: Help with an guitar build

You might want to invest in tripleshots if those emgs have wires that select alternate coils. Otherwise if they don't then phase reversal and adding in series when they're both selected is as best as you're going to do.

Yea its only 5 wires....thanks for pointing me towards the "triple shots" they are interesting! I will see if I can buy a set for the second guitar I build! But for now I'll just do the phase reversal and series wireing I guess

Re: Help with an guitar build

Spin a splits are fun and useful. They adjust how much of one coil is active and in series with the other full coil. You could do a spin o split for each pickup or a master spin o split.
