Hello all, I just got a used Dean guitar from a pawn shop. Having a heck of a time with Id. I'll post some pics of it. I think it may be a "Jammer" or a stat style" from the early 90's
It does have " Korea" and serial # E050748 on the neck. Any help would be great! Thanksimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

IIRC, that is the Dean take on a "Superstrat" but I don't recall the specific model name. Think those are Samick built.

Re: Help with Dean id

Btmn knows all things Dean.... And Hamer too

Plus I think he owns 2 of every model...

Re: Help with Dean id

I know enough about them to be a danger. :knockedou

My friend F73 is no slouch in the Dean/Hamer info area either.

Re: Help with Dean id

When the Best BUy near me stopped selling guitars, they blew everything out for stupid prices. I got TWO of those puke green Deans for $79 (for BOTH). THey were marked "damaged, returned" and the store guy said "the electronics don't work." THey had three of them, but some kid got the 3rd one... Anyway, I resoldered the bridge ground on one, re-connected one of the wires on the output jack on the other, and sold them for $100 each on CL. Maybe I should have kept them... I remember them playing nice and sounding... OK (nothing special, but not what you'd expect a $40 guitar, either)
