help with gibson les paul studio

i bought the sh-2n jazz and sh-4 pickups before i exchanged my old pickups my guitar and amp worked fine i put in new pickups the SDs and guitar was real quiet and didnt play distortion changed them back to my old pups and it worked again

now my stock pups from the LP was just 1 solid wire with a cloth outside coating easy to wire the SDs have 4 wires i was wondering if there compatible or if i did the wrong diagram? anyone have any advice i didnt do coil splitting or anything so anything you know is helpful

Black wire is hot, green/ground is ground, red/white twist&soder taped together. All you should have to do is put the hot wire where the old one came from, vol pot, and the ground wires to the back of the vol. pot. Welcome to the forum!!

wow ok that was perfect i didnt know the red and white were supposed to touch haha i just had them taped not touching thanks!
