Hello,
I have a 3 pickup Epiphone lespaul which I had modified (by a pro) years ago to Chang ethe pickups to:
Dimarzio super distortion in bridge
Gibson p94 in middle
Dimarzio super distortion wired in parallel in neck
The wiring was also changed to have 3 independent volume controls and a master tone
Switching changed to:
Treble position is bridge pickup
Middle position all pickups
Rythem position neck and middle
I recently added a treble bleed to the neck pickup with good results
I then went to a cap to the middle pup volume control and it somehow bypassed the neck treble bleed (solo treble was not retained) and added no volume retention to the middle pup. Any ideas why that might happen?
I am tempted just to re wire the whole thing but before I do that I want to hear the p90 with a treble bleed. At the minute it feels like there’s a treble loss and it’s fairly “woman tone” on the neck and middle pups anyway. Unfortunately I didn’t take any sound clips before I started soldering so that might be in my head!
Thanks for your help
