Help with Wiring diagram

Hi all, Im struggling to find a wiring diagram for my job. Im wiring two Humbuckers to two 500k pots (I presume one volume 1 tone) with a 3 way toggle switch in a PRS esque guitar.

The humbuckers are neck and bridge SH1 single conductor humbuckers i.e. with the outer braided shield wire. The only diagram I can find for single conductor humbuckers (that came with them) is for LP esque 2 vol 2 tone set up.

Does anyone have a more appropriate wiring diagram?

Re: Help with Wiring diagram

Ok I found this which is more like the thing. Might I assume the black wire in the diagram corresponds with my black wire & the "Green & bare" with my outer braided shield wire. That makes sense to me, but no harm in checking.

Re: Help with Wiring diagram

That is exactly right: the black wire is the black inner wire and the braid is ground.

The red, white and green wires are inaccessible.

Re: Help with Wiring diagram

Thank you kindly. Could I also confirm my reading of this switch i.e. the 3 lugs left to right are Neck Hot, L1 Vol pot Bridge Hot and the lug at the top is ground?

Re: Help with Wiring diagram

Middle lug is the output to the volume control (assuming a single master volume). Neck and bridge go to the outside lugs. I normally expect the lug to correspond with the opposite position of the switch, but you'll really need to test which side is which.

The lug against the side of the swith is for ground. You don't really need to connect it, especially if the cavity inside your guitar is shielded.

Re: Help with Wiring diagram

I've always grounded the switch, even if it touches the shielding.
