Hey Guys, I hope that I'm in the correct room for this question. I have a Mesa Boogie Mark I running through a Mesa Theile cab, guitar Les Paul. My bottom end is very flabby and not tight. In fact in general my tone is very nice and round, so much so that I can't even use my neck or middle postion because they will not cut through on stage. My treble is on 7 (from 1-10) bass and mid on 2 or 2 1/2 ( from 1-10 ). I realize that the Theile cab is a closed back with ported front so it is bassy. I wanted to know if anyone had suggestions on maybe getting a cab with V-30's if that would tighten up my low end and just using the Mark I as a head instead of a combo? By the way my Mark I is off of the ground and that is what is being miked. Thanks RG
