Ok. This track was written in 1999. But this is a new version that was done 3 weeks ago. I was one of the three co-authors(mine is the chorus/intro riff). It is my old and so far last band Fiasco Del Mondo. It wast done at our other guitarist's home studio. Unfortunately no amps. Straight into the board. I used my strat with Invader and Texas Specials single coils. The song actually ends with the solo by yours truly, so you will just have to listen to all of it. Felix, that's the other guitarist and a dear friend of mine did drum programming as well as all the recording and mixing including his guitar parts and the bass parts. Vocals/Lyrics are by my bro of 19 years - Al. Pretty cool, we wrote this practically 10 years ago ...

well i only listened on the laptop so i'm sure it sounds better on real spkrs but it's cool! I dig that you are still playing old tunes. I have a PILE waiting for a few old college band mates to come visit & record again on something better than a porta- 1 hahahaha.

the vocals are pretty dry at least on these little speakers and a bit too out front for me but that may have been what you're going for.

what gtr amp sim did you use? sounds decent and sounds old school anthraxy METAL. pretty hot solo too.. reminds me of Dave Murray.. always loved the way that guy played.

Wow, thanks dude, to be in the same sentence with Dave Murray is a great complement. I was actually trying to combine Lynch and Blackmore. I dont know, Felix - the second guitarist/bassis and an engineer on this track, was flipping through some plug ins and I just kept jamming till I like one. It was something "Slash" .... strange huh? Well, that's invader for you. the "fast" part of the solo is Texas Special btw, neck, 4th position on strat's pup selector. The opening of the song is me, but the rest of the songs is two of us. On the original he played a solo too, but it was just too much work and time for him to finish this, so I got noodle all by myself.

my buddy that plays drums with me is also a really good guitarist and just rolls his eyes while i solo off for hours on end... well if would quit playing such fun rhythms MAYBE i would quit soloing!

that is funny that its the slash patch.. his tone is so thin compared to many others.

I have to say the Rythm section sounds like Sodom's Remember the fallen!
It's sounding good ,the drum and bass parts are cool.
The vocals are too loud!

Yo, I actually never heard of Sodom. The song started with chorus/opening riff of mine, and I was thinking of Testament "Souls of Black" album type of vibe. There is gonna be a second mix soon there I think the guitars would be brought out a bit differently so that the vocals are not so in front. But we always thought that this track calls for in your face type vocals track. Thanks man.

Nah, it was done at a home studio, I could not crank the AOR to the appropriate levels. That was emulators that my friend has. You will hear AOR by the end of the year though. Thanks.

Hey ofcourse it's a compliment.And I listen to Sodom more rthat Testatemnt ,so it's was the first thing popping in my mind!
