here's a good deal for someone

Re: here's a good deal for someone

Wow.... at a BIN of only $75 USD? I don't know why but it just seems too good to be true.

A 13 hole strat pickguard? I wonder what he means that it is larger than normal and overlays a standard pickguard? Would this mean you mount this on top of a regular pickguard? That would look pretty ghetto to me. Also what's up with the whacky cutout for the bridge?

But at that price you could yank the guts, toss the guard, and still be getting a deal. Assuming they're actually Duncans, that is.

Don't say what kind. Just 'Duncans'. That's a nice comfy thought.

Yep, that and the non-descript back side of the pickups led to my "assuming they are Duncans" line :laugh2:.

Looks like a pair of quarter pounders and either a JB jr or a Lil' 59. Check the pic up top.

Quarterpounders and JBJrs are pretty hard to fake unless you know what you´re doing... and then you can probably make more selling your own pickups ;)

"1b" on the bridge pickup would denote a JBJr or Duckbucker.. the "4" stickers are missing from the QPs, but the rest of looks fiine from the pic... whoever bid instead of hitting the BIN probably made a mistake, I doubt that these will stay under 75$....we´ll see...

Thanks for clearing that up, I have no experience with those units so I couldn't tell either way.
