Here's a tube stash I didn't realize I had! (LARGE PICTURES AHOY!)

Went to my in-laws' place because my '69 Bassman is stored up in their attic. I figured I'd pull the tubes out of that since I'm not using it and try them out in my Picovalve.

Could've sworn I had a pair of SED/Winged Cs in there but it has a duet of Sovtek 6L6GCs with that MEGA-WIDE base that they don't make anymore... I know I put a pair of SEDs in it at some point... So I wonder where they went.

Anyhow, what I didn't realize I had was a stash of 12AX7 types sitting in the back (and in it). I could've sworn that I completely loaded the thing with JJ ECC83S's, but... No. It still had a couple Mesa STRs in it.

Anyhow, I took some pics just now. There's a couple tubes here that I need help identifying overall, if you guys could spot them. They'll be the last three pics. Also, if you guys could identify the OEM of the GT I have here.

I can't help identify the tubes, but - I've played the GT 12AT7 and really liked its fidelity. Not as 'sweet' as the 5751s I've tried but definitely a great tube.

What i'm wondering is who made it for GT since it doesn't have the usual identifier.

I blackfaced it a bunch of years ago. Then I started messing around with the bass channel circuit, but never finished it. I was trying to see if I could get a cathode follower circuit working on that side, but then I moved twice, and it just never got finished.

Then I got married and had a kid, so that and my Peavey 412MS cab that I gigged with got stashed away.

I'm not getting rid of it because I want to keep it and I know I'll probably be playing gigs again in a few years, plus I now have a Jet City JCA24S 2x12 cabinet that can handle it for a smaller rig that could even fit in my Mustang. LOL

You mean the two without logos? I found out the one with the worn orange logo is an Amperex.

Yeah it could be easy, the scraped orange looks like a GE. I have a old Amperex but there codes were near the bottom on mine, same plates though and there pretty expensive

The scraped orange one is definitely an Amperex. It's this logo.
