Thanks fellas I appreciate it. I'm really digging these guitars. Joe I think you're right. I should just throw in a reverse zebra Jazz in the neck. I'm trying to remember what all everyone wrote so I can respond. The SG's are about a year and a half old or so. The Les Pauls do all sound different. Jeremy you're welcome once again at my house anytime bro. Simon, thanks for reminding me. Ratherdashing, I'm into real modern art crap and that's what's on the wall.
Now Jolly has 3 LP's that I want....ya'll can fight over the rest. I want the tobacco burst, the cherry sunburst and Amber. The rest are not my style as far as color, but sure do look sweet.
Jolly..beautiful guitars all..you and I are of the same cloth...love the Gibsons...
I can tell ya now tho DON'T PICK UP A FIREBIRD whatever you do...
They are the biggest friggin cause of GAS attacks I have yet to experience. I've set aside 2 Les Pauls, a McCarty, a Jackson, and a Epi LP because of that thing...they are alllllll for sale. And mine is just a "lowly" Studio model. It's the most comfortable guitar I think I've owned...just like a natural extension of my body, and plays like a dream.
And to think I never bought one before cos I thought they were ugly as sin :smack:
I'm currently GASing for a FB-V or another Studio as a "backup" and am seriously contemplating ordering a custom shop model to my specs...Firebird V neck through with standard buckers, TOM, and the headstock (normal tuners) they use on the Custom shop non-reverse bodies.
Schaaaweeet collection, they look gorgeous together. How do the Classic Plus guitars compare to, say, a LP standard??? Now a little hijack, here's my humble collection. The LP is actually a Czech made Epiphone, an asskicker of a guitar with upgraded pups etc., but will unfortunately be traded for a ****ty Ibanez + cash within a few days though :smack: They're a sweet pair, but money is unfortunately more important than having two nice guitars :blackeye:
