I know there might be some haters out there, but I thought some folks might be interested...These amps are backstage in the tuning and attitude room, used for warmups and jamming.

I tried out a Stiletto quite extensively yesterday...


Killer, killer tone. No doubt about it. Just needed a little kick in the nuts. Not more gain, just a bit more saturation. An SD-1 set to level at 10 and drive at 0 gave it just what it needed...what an orgasmic tone! If I wasn't already pretty damned happy with my XXX, I'd be saving up for the Stiletto.

Funny, I use almost exactly the same settings on my Tremoverb as the second one listed for James. No wonder I've had luck achieving a decent Metallica tone.

I forgot to mention that Kirk was using a TS9 as a boost...

Too much traffic, not enough bandwidth. I had recently upgraded my bandwidth but it just keeps growing like a beast and I can't keep up with it It should be back up by the 25th though
