Believe it or not, that's a pretty good price for a real one. Over on the LP Forum they're quoting prices $3000.00+:yell:

and i was worried i was nuts cause i swap pups a lot

I think the FUNNIEST thing in the world is to think and maybe even know they would not sound any better than the duncan antiquity set for $200!

According to BachToRock it's balanced, not mismatched. Look at the bottom of his big 'ol reply to WL in the quite box.

I bought it used so i dont know
it is very trebly and kind of weak(little hotter than a 59b) but i only paid $50 for it:beerchug:

i got 4 old DDJ's for $100 shipped recently!
the guy wanted to get rid of them cause they were old:laugh2:
my EVH has one coil 4.8K and the other is 4K so it is a 8.8K PAF

...tone mixes well with alcohol...and when ya got that much alcohol runnin through ya over the years, ya just piss it away



Look...here's the real scoop on EVH.....I've been holding back cos my buddy who used to be his roadie swore me to secrecy..but he died last week..and well...F$%K him...


The true brown sound is caused by the interaction of the cigarette smoke flowing from the headstock to inbetween the magnets and strings...this was causing variance in magnetic pull from one second to the next...this along with a healthy layer of smoke "grime" on his fingers which makes for warmer tone from a PAF/Maple neck combo....

Now later on when he went to soldanos and 5150s and musicmans? It wasnt the GEAR that changed his tone....oh no...
