Man xeromus you have the worst luck with guitars ever. There must be an unspoken rule that companies send slightly flawed guitars to you just to see if you find the cosmetic problems.

They should put me in QC of these companies. That way everyone will get perfect guitars all the time.

This is one of the reasons that I don't like to buy new guitars. Seems like there are ALWAYS cosmetic stuff that could be better. Carvin is a corporation, just like Gibson or Fender and mistakes are made. I used to think it was indigenous to Gibson, but apparently shoddy workmanship is ubiquitous.

The manufacturer should be willing to either rectify the issues (which they seem to be) or accept a return because of workmanship issues...

I'd send it back. It's one thing if I put a Scratch or dent in ine if my guitar, But If I bought I new one with a bad finish it would drive me crazy.
