Hey, what are these and where can I buy them?

They look cool as hell!

I only have 1 Floyd in the herd, but now I have to get these. Then I can lose my wrenches and not have to worry about it.

While those mostly look ridiculous, I appreciate the fact that they are trying to come up with a solution to a real problem with Floyd guitars. There were 'flip top' locking nuts in the 80s that were a slightly more elegant solution. We should be able to figure a good design out by now that also looks great, too.

Looks like it would make the nut even heavier than it already is. I am always afraid that heavy stuff on the neck influences the sound.

It will definitely increase sustain, but other than that, pretty minimal change.

Someone actually sold things for this in the 80's. "Fat Heads" - maybe? Molded metal blocks one would bolt on the back of a headstock.

They could joint market these as "Floyd Locking Nut Fat Heads" if they are heavy enough to cause concerns.

Ya guys, I've used the wrench holders a few times before..... Don't want or need or really looking for those.

I want these things.

I never went with the wrench holders as once set up, the only wrench I ever need is the one to unlock the nut for string changes. I have 2 Kahler's dating back to the 80's and one Floyd I acquired in 2020. I have not been through a lot of string changes on the Floyd, still need to adapt to playing it, but anticipate it will behave the same long term.
