Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls of all ages, I present to you my only slightly used 2000 Gibson Les Paul Studio:
Neither of these two photos really brings out the wood grain you can see through the transparent green finish, which is a shame, because it's really beautiful. I've never really seen a transparent green lp before, so when I saw it on the wall it immediately grabbed my attention.
It's also not an obnoxiously loud green, which is something else I like about it.
I grabbed it for under $1000 over a 2 month layaway period having only played it once but knowing from the moment I sat down with it that it was "the one". It sounds beautiful, plays beautiful, and uh...makes me feel beautiful? I dunno, mere words cannot describe the audio nirvana I experience everytime I plug it in. (The "cool" factor is also undeniable)
