OK I decided I would post a thread of what I am using right now.
I am set on this stuff and am planning on keeping it around.
I have a highway 1 strat that was messed up and I am re-finishing slowly some of you may or may not remember that fun thread.

group.jpg

Back Left to Right:
Epiphone 335 Dot, Muddy Waters Tele, Fender Strat, Alvarez acoustic
Front Left to Right:
Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger, Visual Sound H2O, Russian Big Muff Pi, Ibanez TS-808
Note the Straps, figured I would include them, a leather one, a blue fender, a white srv one and a brown fender, I love Fender as you can tell.

335.jpg

Epiphone 335 Dot in Natural. Good guitar, It has Dot written on the truss cover, I and others are under the impression they are better quality than the older ones, this has some "upgraded" knobs I liked the Black ones better. Using it for slide

muddy.jpg

Muddy Waters Tele - I really like this guitar a lot, you have probably seen and read about it before but the quality is fantastic and it sounds great, I like to play a little slide on this one to.

strat.jpg

My new '05 American Strat. It has the 50th anniversary deluxe pickguard (note the logo) and the SCN pickups. I cannot decide if I like the SCNs or not, this also has the S-1 etc. I love this guitar, it plays so good, the 2 point bridge is not my fave but tends to stay in tune. I just polished it for this picture.

alvarez.jpg

Alvarez RF-8 Acoustic. Cool little mmm maybe 000 size probably more 00 or 0m size but still I like it, this is the guitar I take everywhere when I go out of town, It sounds good and plays great, people always comment on how well it plays.

pedals.jpg

Pedals I use right now. Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger, I am in a Robin Trower phase and this fits the bill, I like the cool sounds, Buckkillr8 helps me with this (and lots more pedals and setups etc), Visual Sound H2O chorus and echo, I like this little thing, has a cool sound, very nice chorus not harsh or anyhting, Russin Big Muff Pi, I have the knob for it somewhere but it just wont stay on so I leave it off... Ibanez TS-808 this gets the most use period, if the amp is on this pedal is plugged in.

Ok so there you go

hehe i didnt know if this was the right place is all like which area...

anyway man that muddy waters tele is a real sleaper, it has some upgraded equipment and the parts and fit are in my opinion VERY good, almost as good as the USA strat.

the paint doesnt look as good as it should either it is that fender candy apple red like the eric johnson strats etc

This be tha place.

I figured it was the candy apple, though it would look pretty cool if it was that dark, too. What pups are in it?

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

of course it's okay to post gear! its like giving kids candy. nice stuff. that musical notes strap behind the strat looks uber thick. i duno if my shoulder is even that wide!:laugh2:

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

Hey, thats cool man!

Haha.. We always love some gear pics you know..

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

Cool. You got all the bases covered nicely......except, where's the amp?
Your strat looks like my #1 strat. I put Chubtone El Gordo/63's in it, and it kills for fat vintage SRV type tone.

I like that Alvarez too. I've always loved their bridge design.

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

Great gear. You have several bases covered. I dig it all!!

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

Thanks guys...

The Muddy has some sort of "American Vintage" I believe is what they call them, def not mexican pickups and not hwy 1s either voiced diff a little darker.

The white "SRV" strap is thick but not so bad, I just wish it was a little padded

All in all I am happy with the stuff, pickups could very well be changed in both the 335 and the usa strat, still trying to get into the scn but other than that, life is good!

Nice stuff there, bro. The Strat has a beautiful burst on it.

I know you said so already but how lush is the chorus in the H2O and how is the Echo? Is the Echo more like a delay or more like a reverb? I've been thinking of getting one of these myself. I've never messed with Echo units, just delay or reverb.

I think it is one of the best sounding choruses out there personally and it will get kinda wild if you turn everything way up.

The echo is more of a delay.... but it is cool they have settings for it in the book

Thanks. I'll have to find a place locally that carries it so I can play with one for a little bit.

Sah-weet! I love the natural finish on the 335. Your whole collection is a beaut. So where are the amps, man?

Thanks man!
Which Uni-Vibe do you recommend?

Hopefully not like a $300 one

Re: Hope It Is Ok To Post Some Pics of My Gear

Ooooh, let me the first to comment on your 335! :)

Nice 335 dude. I have always wanted one, but I never have because I wouldn't be using it for what it was intended for.
