Hot Rail in P-90 shape?

I only ask because my friend's Ibanez Talman w/P-90s sucks so bad and something with a lot of gain would be cool.

I don't know if this will help but I put a Hot Rails in a Godin that had those funky oversized single coils. You can remove the pickup from the chassis and wire the Hot Rails inside of it.

I'm not sure if anyone sells a P-90 that has a closed casing. Good luck in your quest.
