Next thing you know, you'll be telling me that you can play Anthrax with one, too!

I'm not sure if your post is serious or sarcasm, but almost all 80's metal had a JB somewhere in the albums, especially Megadeth and Anthrax.

Whether the JB is anyone's favorite or not, it's actually the best selling aftermarket pickup in the world.

Try a JB in a swamp ash body with 250k pots and a maple fretboard and you'll hear what the JB was meant to be. It's a whole other world from basswood bodies and 500k pots.

One of these days, I'm going to get or build a JB with an RCUOA5 magnet coupled with a set of ceramic spacer magnets. Maybe even swap the screw coil for a rail coil.

Try a JB in a swamp ash body with 250k pots and a maple fretboard and you'll hear what the JB was meant to be. It's a whole other world from basswood bodies and 500k pots.

JB in my alder Jackson with 500K and 250K (no load) pot is good enough for me ^_^

Really?!
Then why, if you can explain, did the BB pros from my friends LP standard (mahogany body w/maple cap) sound really good, but when I put them in my LP studio (mahogany body w/mahogany cap) they sounded dark & muddy?
As for the JB, loved it in my strat, hated it in my lp & sg

Different Pots, different strings, different bridges, installation, jacks, the list goes on...

Just saying
