Hotrails Neck in the bridge position. Yay,nay, maybe?

I have this older triangle base Hotrails Neck (10.35k) and I was thinking about putting it in the bridge position of a Strat with APS-1's (1987's, 6.0k mid, 6.1k neck)

Any thoughts on this? I'm particularly interested in hearing opinions and first hand experience of the HRN in the bridge specifically...

These are just sitting around collecting more dust, and I'm contemplating on replacing the H/S that's in there now. Which is an '81, and an EMG SES, (which blows).

Actually, this should be fine, and works really well.

Right on man, much obliged for your input. I had a feeling that it would at least be worth looking into. I may just get an S/x/S pickguard and a single 500k pot/3-way, and do away with the middle pup and the 250k pots that would typically be used.

Thank you
