dude i you read the post i have said like 2 or 3 times that i got the distortion i just need some better settings !!! im at work right now so i havent played it a lot!!

just ask my brother deadskinslayer which amp has a better metal tone !! your little marshall (i think you dont got a cab so you wouldnt know about the distortion) or the 5150 :laugh2: :laugh2:

No, I do not have a cab, but remember everything is subjective, so discussing which is "best" is rather pointless

I'm sure both amps are good at each their thing.

Hey Theodie hows the Mullet? Im pretty close to getting my CDL and being less of a DOCKMONKEY! I scored a job with one of the biggest LTL companies of the west coast. Daycare was killing us so I have to go back to nights. Good news is I get to read alot more about Kids trying to get distortions from a 5150 and making it sound good at higher volumes.
