How do I make audio clips of my guitar?

Hey y'all,

I don't know how to make audio clips so that I can post them. I have POD Farm, but no recording software. Can anyone advise me? Thanks!

I think guys around here are using Reaper? I believe it's free.

I don't know if it's still around out there but I know cool edit pro was goin around for free awhile ago

audacity is another good free program. 16 track recording, and it's basically plug 'n' play. as long as you've got your modeling and recording up at the same time, just press record.

i think adobe audition / cool edit pro is a 30 day free trial on download.com

Good thread: I have a similar question. I've used Pro-tools and have a mbox2, will REAPER support it? I can't find specifics on their website. I'm itching to start recording again but can't because I have a 64 bit OS now and stupid Pro-Tools won't work on it.
