How do I properly adjust the height of AHB-1 BlackOuts on a Schecter Blackjack SLS ?

Re: How do I properly adjust the height of AHB-1 BlackOuts on a Schecter Blackjack SL

The center screws on either side of the pickup raise and lower the pickup, tightening raises the pickup, loosening them lowers the pickup.

With actives I start as close as I can without it hitting the strings while fretted. After that its personal preference. Don't be afraid to play with the heights, its all reversible and you might find a tone you like better than your current tone.

Set them where they sound good.

Thanks for the replies just wondering also if theirs any particular exact height recommendation for active pickups or for the AHB-1
Like Gibson and Fender both have there listed height recommendations does Seymour Duncan have any also ?
Mean in-case I mess it up I can always just set it back to specs.

Rule of thumb for actives: Start with them as close to the strings as you can without them interfering with the strings when you are playing.
