How Do I Remove A Neck

I have a Epiphone double neck guitar that has had an accident.

The 12 string neck has had a smack at some point and cracked around the neck socket (not sure if this is the right term). Over time the tension on the 12 string neck has pulled the neck out the pocket so that there is about a 5mm gap all round but its still seems to be glued in.

Whats the best way to get the buggar out so I can glue it in properly.

Cheers

Take it to a great tech or luthier. This is not something you want to do on your own. You will need to pull a fret, drill a small hole in the fret slot, and then steam out the joint, like on an acoustic. It's not a fun process. ;)

Spot on, Benji. DO NOT try to reset the neck yourself unless you can afford to totally destroy the guitar. This is your only warning :D

Seriously, even experienced luthiers usually aren´t happy when they have to reset a neck ;)
